Saw the mama grabbing stick by stick one at a time a week ago and taking it up to our gutter. now she has a nest there. pretty cool, my 2 dogs don't mess with them and neither do we. I enjoy the visitors. Just glad it's within city limits because come sept 1. you know.

At least it was courteous enough to make its nest at the end of the gutter and not near the chute.

I have two dove nests in the back yard. They don't seem to mind people and don't move off the nests when we are in the yard. I have seen more doves in my neighborhood this spring than I saw last dove season!

I have a pair nesting on my patio also. Man they picked the wrong patio but I'm letting them do their thing for now.

They tend to make a poorly constructed nest, easily destroyed by high winds. I think this one is safe.
