I posted in the classifieds a while back about a management doe hunt available in Mason county. I went on my scheduled trip to this place this past weekend. Showed up Friday morning at 6:10 and was finished shooting at 7:45.

I stuck around with the rest of the guys videoing and taking pictures and chasing turkeys around... generally just enjoying my weekend away.

It was really enjoyable just being in a blind knowing I wasn't going to shoot and just there to watch. I saw some great activity and some beautiful deer. Just wish I'd charged my batteries better and had more tape!

I saw more deer in 2 days than I have in any previous season combined! This place is remote and very pretty. I would definitely recommend it if anyone else is wanting to get some meat in the freezer!
