Been hoarding for years.
Currently sitting on over 200,000 rds of 22, 80,000 of 308, 125,000 of 9mm, 77,000 of 380, and 200,000 7.62-25.
When you gots lots of full autos, you need lots of bullets for them.
I shoot weekly.

For hunting & home defense ? Our Guns Hi Point C9 Hi Point .40 S&W Hi Point 995TSRD carbine Winchester 1400 20 ga Stoeger Condor 20 ga Marlin 60 .22 LR Remington 700 .308 Did inventory today  Our ammo .22 lr 3100 rds .308 200 rds 9mm 1620 rds .40 S&W 1000 rds 20 ga shells 450 rds You and I are remarkably close. I have more shotgun rounds but I have more guages. I have a couple hundred rounds of buckshot and slugs to go with it. For me that is enough. Yes sir , added another 300 rds of 9mm thanks to walmart this morning

Rarely is ammo going to get cheaper so I think stacking it deep is the way to go. I set a base amount years ago and either reload or watch for sales to add to it. I also minimized the calibers I have from 12 down to 5, thats made it easier.

There is no such thing as enough! If you have more than a lifetime supply, you just increase the amount that you are currently shooting! Too much is not enough.

Laugh if you want, but I view ammo as an alternative currency/investment, similar to any other precious metal.
Read an article from someone who lived through the Argentinian currency collapse and the use of ammunition as a currency was a reality.
So you can never have enough imo.

Just remember one thing YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH AMMO.
There is just no such thing as too much, when you are talking Ammo
300 lb. Woman = TOO MUCH
200 LB. Woman = about average
100 lb. Woman = only in your dreams
100 million rounds of ammo = gettin close to enough
