20 ga shells 450 rds

IMO it depends on what all you hunt, and how much you shoot each year.

This isn't going to end up as one of those bad programs on Discovery Channel where family members and mental health professionals do interventions is it? Op, that is more ammo than my grandfather shot in his lifetime and except for the 22lr less ammo than I shot last year. So, I think you could also use some more ammo but with the amount you have I wouldn't run out and spend crazy prices on any more. Just make sure some of pistol ammo is dead on reliable hollow point and that you have a few boxes of buck shot.

Of course, if you plan a lot of range time or plan to take any training classes, the amount of ammo you have will run out quickly.

Depends on how many Black Helicopters and Abrams tanks you want to shoot at when the Federales come to confiscate your toys...
Just sayin...IMO THATS why the scaricity of stuff is happening 'cause folks is "Gettin Ready"for the Big Showdown WTSHTF. Posse Comitatus or not...

You and I are remarkably close. I have more shotgun rounds but I have more guages. I have a couple hundred rounds of buckshot and slugs to go with it. For me that is enough.

Been hoarding for years.

Currently sitting on over 200,000 rds of 22, 80,000 of 308, 125,000 of 9mm, 77,000 of 380, and 200,000 7.62-25.

When you gots lots of full autos, you need lots of bullets for them.

3,000 .45, 1,000 .243, 1,200 .308, 1,500 .38 special...I might have enough for awhile.

Rarely is ammo going to get cheaper so I think stacking it deep is the way to go. I set a base amount years ago and either reload or watch for sales to add to it. I also minimized the calibers I have from 12 down to 5, thats made it easier.

There is no such thing as enough! If you have more than a lifetime supply, you just increase the amount that you are currently shooting! Too much is not enough.

Laugh if you want, but I view ammo as an alternative currency/investment, similar to any other precious metal.

Read an article from someone who lived through the Argentinian currency collapse and the use of ammunition as a currency was a reality.

So you can never have enough imo.

There is just no such thing as too much, when you are talking Ammo
300 lb. Woman = TOO MUCH
200 LB. Woman = about average
100 lb. Woman = only in your dreams
100 million rounds of ammo = gettin close to enough

The only time you can have too much ammo is when you are on FIRE! Any other time there is never enough!
