My wife wanted a new knife so I made her this spear point barlow.

3 3/8 closed, Jerry Rados damascus, 416 integral liners/bolsters mill relieved at the pivot with elephant ivory handles and File worked liners.

Now I am waiting to see if she wants it engraved or not.

I was a Barlow fan in the 60's and 70's but never liked the thinkness of them. You have solved that problem. Nice looking knife. Would look good with a gold Texas star in the middle. Good work!

I just had to look this knife up and drool over it again, This may just be the best looking knife I have ever seen, if it had a traditional clip point blade I'm not sure what I would do. I guess its time to try and make one for myself. I love single blade barlows I mean I like two blade ones also but never use the smaller blade. I will admit I'm scared of the stainless Damascus and elephant ivory, if I screw one of those up it will hurt my wallet for sure, I may make a cheaper practice version first...lol. I have 0 chance of producing one of this level but i guess I will try.

Excellent work. First Damascus steel pocket knife I've seen that size and style. Very nice touches with the file work.
