Currently have an 8yr old black male...He's an awesome dog, great family dog and bird dog. Weighs about 105lbs of solid muscle and has the bigger block head, good size shoulders and very tall. I guess they might call this the classic labrador correct me if I'm wrong. I am looking to get another male either light yellow, black or chocolate. Wanting him to be in the 85-95lb range when he's older. Really looking for the bigger block head style labs with good height and size similar to mine now. He too would be living in the house and going out in the field with me all the time. I do a lot of pheasant, dove and duck hunting. We train our pups at home..always have for both obedience and hunting. Needs to come from a place with good genetics with all the proper certifications and clearances on hips, eyes, shoulders ect. Willing to travel wherever to make this happen. Let me know if you guys can help out or know of anyone who can. I've spent countless hours on the internet looking for a good pup with the right "classic" build but it isn't easy..

I have a classic look litter coming up but not nearly that large...
I'm waiting to hear if she is indeed pregnant before I advertise the litter.

Wow, your boy is GORGEOUS!!!! I love the classic look, too. And while some think 100+ lbs is too big to hunt, our Commando bloodline apparently hasn't gotten that memo. Here are some of our boys: Sarge: Bear: Commander:

Rusty is a little guy! I love my little red dawg to bits, but he's only 55 lbs! Besides, he's in my sig bloc.

Thanks for the compliments! Those are some good looking dogs you guys have. Ironspikelabs- I can't tell you how many times I've gone hunting somewhere with people that make a comment to me or laugh about my 100lb pup not being a good "true" bird dog....then we get into the birds and he seems to be the one retrieving all the birds smoking everyone else's dog!

Way bigger than his sire or dam.

I should have a nice litter of chocolates on the ground in June/July, ready for their home Sept/Oct.
I will say this, they are not going to be 100 lbs labs. They are going to be field bred out of some pretty nice FT/HT chocolate lines, males will run 65 to 70.
If you are wanting drive, desire, and some go, this would probably be a litter to consider.

You might try Country Haven Labs in Franklin Texas. They have "English" type labs that hunt. My 14 month old lab weighs 90 pounds and has some growing to do. He has already won his UKC confirmation championship and retrieved doves for me last season. They are not cheap but I believe they have the "look" you are after

I have one yellow male still available. Not quite as large as you specified but should be around 75lbs. Chocolate factored. Light in color. If you're interested call for more details. (903) 720-6842.

I don't expect mine to top out at 100 lbs. but, I do have a very nice breeding that just hit the ground last week. Excellent hunting dogs with strong pedigrees and all health clearances. Let me know if you're interested.

Was just looking around and saw a nice litter of pups. There is a photo of the sire who seems to have a classic lab look. Ad said something about the Sire being 3 time Grand Champion only problem is pups are in South Carolina. Here's the info if you are interested http://www.gundogs.com/home/dogsforsaleLook like a nice litter of pups. Good Luck
