I bought a bow last year and I am going to bow hunt for the first time along with my nephew.
The stupid question I have is how do I apply the bowstring wax properly and where.

gonna wax a box?? wax on wax off...just like danielson.....JK
put a little on the string. using your index and thumb, rub it, fast, up and down....up and down till it gets hot.....it will absorb into the string

I wax mine before I take it out and shoot it every time.

if u keep it waxed it wont fray as fast or as bad. i know its a pain ,but i would before and after shooting 20 arrows, although i dont  .
i use Scorpion Venom Polymeric Bowstring Fluid cause u dont have to rub it in. it has a sponge applicator on the end. u just run it down the string and your done.
