Does any one know of any reusable products or stuff i can do to put temporary camo on a gun?
My intent is so i can hunt different place with the same rifle and be able to blend in with them all. So something that would work with varied seasons or terrain.
Any help is appreciated

Usually when hunting with a rifle, as long as there is no shiny gloss or what not you wont need camo.

I have a cloth sleeve I use on my nova for turkey hunting. I had to mod it a little to pump easily, but it's ok. I don't really need it as the gun is matte black, but the kids think it helps so it stays. You can also make your own with burlap.

This turkey season I was sitting on a log (because my back was killing me leaning on it for an hour, I was completely back lit. Not ideal) I had a face veil but no gloves and a jet black rifle. I had a young deer come with in 15 yards and stare at me for almost 5 minutes. Had two turkey come with in 30 yards, the turkey stared at me for a minute or two both turkey and deer never spooked just kept going.

I plan to camo my rifle for coyote hunting but just shows may not be 100% needed.

I have used a full-length gun sock with a few carefully-cut holes and a little bit of electrical tape to cover up all the shiny on my rifles.

You can also use camo tape. Any sticky residue will come off with WD-40.

I don't think color or pattern is real important as long as you cover up anything glossy.

I would have to agree with earlier post, as long as it is not shiny I feel it will work in all situations. I have the Max4 camo on a couple of guns and it blends in well. A friend has just black and I have not seen any game spook from his movement.
