I wanted all to be made well aware of an indvidual that has ran our operation as well as Bambi Harrell's operation through the coals. JAMES HOUGH of the houston Beaumont are took Ms. Harrell for a 150K ride and has cost our ranch close to 7k. James will inquire and try to book a hunt, then come up with every excuse of why money hasn't made it or something happens to him or his brother (george) during the travels to your ranch. He has sent empty Fed-Ex envelopes, Said got in a wreck, Caught on a boat for work ,and on and on. This man is a con artist, liar, and just a sick individual. Ms. Harrell has notified the authorities of his actions. I would urge all outfitters and ranches to not speak or deal with this man or his brother.

That guys was at the Waco Predator and Hog Show last week saying that he was a Fire Fighter that responded to the explosion in the town of West. He took one of my cards to setup a hunt with us. Thanks for the info...

I'm trying to piece this together. Is he buying animals and receiving them on a c.o.d type arrangement. I get the lying bs but how is he taking people for tangible dollars? I totally agree if he is booking $150 k worth of animals then bailing that's causing you a loss in essence since you could of sold to someone else, but I'm confused on the crime committed. Irregardless good job fellas posting this up he sounds like a total pos loser and if he's a fireman I'm bullet proof.

I dunno. When this guy contacted me long ago he wanted a lot more different animals than I had. I had a few of the common ones on his list like the axis, blackbuck and fallow and he never never sent a deposit. I didn't order animals on the hope he was going to send a deposit to book the hunt. I dont ever do that and I prefer to have ours born out here at our place or previously here for a longer period of time anyway. He never showed up anyway and I never heard from him again so I guess he has been trying this with other people since then.

to help clarify things For our operation he wanted a big elk, 170 plus whitetail and several other exotics all which we had on our place with the exception of the elk. I had already lined out to get several other elk in so it wasn't a big deal to get another one, as the day I talked to him he was putting the check in a fed ex envelope and overnighting it. I even got the tracking number and checked it out. It showed it was sent. SO we got the bull. Package comes in and he sent several empty letter envelopes inside the fed ex package. All we were out was the monies for the additional elk for him and his brother. Ms. Harrell is a whole different ordeal which she can better elaborate on. But the main focus is that he will never come through on his word and is a twisted and disturbed individual.

Man that is terrible. Thank you both CP and Ms. Bambi for sharing. Sounds like in CP's case he would've gotten a lot of us as no one would expect a package to be shipped to them with empty envelopes in it.
