They have some fancy expensive electric versions but my ear buds were like 5 from academy and you can easily hold a conversation.

One day after a race at TMS, I went completely deaf in one ear due to a plug pushing wax on my drum. I had to rush to the doc to get it cleaned out. I could hardly walk straight.
