My son and I are new to bow hunting and we were out scouting around Sunday afternoon and started to get eaten up by mosquitoes. We started to wonder what do you do for bug repellant while bow hunting and still manage your scent. Do you use regular bug spray or is there something else you can do?

I use a thermacell ( too ). I have never been able to be completely scent free despite years of trying. No matter what I have done, if they get downwind of me I get busted. So, basically, adding the odor of the Thermacell or bug spray doesnt seem to negatively affect the outcome of the hunt. If they can smell the bug spray or thermacell, they smell you too.
