Hey folks,
Just thought I'd tap the collective mindset here & see what you think about the Snugpak line of gear. I'm considering a number of their products to add to my company's offerings, but don't know a whole bunch about the brand's reputation. Do they have a good quality & value product? Are there any items that stand out as good or bad? Or should I consider a similiar but different name out there?
Thanks in advance for the help! Ceylon deltaoutdoorsman.com

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm a little confused with your reply. Are you saying that they are inconsistent with the pricing of their products? Would you be willing to clarify a little bit? Thanks! I think he was saying they're overpriced. I have no experience with them.

i should have been more clear. i've only looked at their sleeping bags, but they cost way more than i'm willing to pay. if were in a region where temperatures get zero f or below, i might be inclined to pay a greater price for what they or other manuf. have. i'm at the point to where if a piece of gear can't deliver it's price in durability, longevity, etc. , i just can't make myself shell out the bucks. i've been getting by these last five years with the same 20.00 sleeping bag, a wool blanket, and a space blanket just fine, so it would be hard for me to shell out 100.00 or more for anything else. time was when i would pay 200.00+ - for some good boots for hunting and they would go the extra mile and not have to worry about failure. the last time i paid a goodly amount, the soles gave up and the factory wouldn't replace them. now i buy a pair of cheapies every year and toss them with no regrets.
hope that wasn't too long and told you what you wanted
