Been lookin' at the Minox stuff at CameraLand of NY...is anybody running any of these? Great prices on the Demo - Out of Box stuff have gotten my attention and I cannot afford even Conquests in the larger power ranges I'm looking at, as many scopes as I want to buy. Comments Please from Current or Former Users. Cheers Ron

Great scopes, I like them alot. Why you would want to spend a dime in an Anti-Second Amendment State is beyond me though. SWFA has several Minox scopes on their demo site. Call SKylar and he can set you up and keep your money in Texas.

Optically, I liken them to the image quality & resolution that you get from a Nikon Monarch. Build, ergonomics & feature wise, they are more similiar to the Zeiss Conquest line. The Minox line offers a good bang for the buck and I'm unaware of any construction or relibility issues. Solid choice for a hunting scope...

I tecently bought one off the SWFA demo list. Initial thoughts are it is a great value with quality glass. Stellar warranty and great reviews prompted me to take the plunge. Hope to get it in the field soon on varmints.
Patience is the key

D**N GOOD. I bought one, looked through it, and immediatly bought a second. Replacing Nikon. for what I paid, absoulutly awesome scope. ZA5 5-20x50 or something like that.
Forum says "Veteran Tracker". I could not track a garbage truck into a fireworks factory.

Put one on my CZ and my only complaint is length the back bell is touching the rear mount using CZ mounts.

Minox makes an excellent product. They actually became popular in the Cold War because of the Spy Cameras. Their glass comes from Schott glass works and believe it or not, they are some of them are assembled in the US and that helps you as the consumer, because you are not paying export taxes. We have several on our Sample List http://www.samplelist.com/Riflescopes-C3391.aspx#Minox

Put one on my CZ and my only complaint is length the back bell is touching the rear mount using CZ mounts. That is my only complaint with the Z5 Minox I have. Good scope for the $ for sure but is a bit on the short side for some rifles without going to offset mounts. Have mine on a short action Remington 700 and it works there but if mounting on a long action it might not work as well. On the Tikka with factory mounts no problem since you can set those where you want. The tracking of adjustments are very good in shooting a box test, optics are also good for the $

I have 3ea. Minox scopes and a pair of bino's. For the price you can't go wrong. If SWFA has what you want on the sample list, DO NOT HESITATE.
