What yardage do yall mainly focus on, when practicing. I know it's good to be good at different distances. In your opinion what shots(yardage) are present most of the time? Just curious.

30-40 yards most the time. makes the 20-25 yard shot easier.

Due to limitations on yard side I mainly practice out to about 23 / 24 yards on flat ground (the back yard).
When I'm out in the field I practice from an elevated blind from 15 - 30 yards.

15-25 due to my back yard. 30-35 when I can get out in the open. I like to set up about 20 for my shots

Since I shoot instinctively, I don't measure the yardage but it's probably random ranges from 10 yards out to about 30 yards. I usually end a session by backing up to about 50 yards for a few shots. More than anything, this is a mental reinforcement that I can shoot those ranges at targets but choose not to at deer.
Most of my actual shots on deer are 20 yards or less.
Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

I usually practice at 30 yards 50% of the time and 20 30% and 10 and 40 - 20%. I am not sure if I want to shoot a deer at 40 yards away, but am trying to get my mind set up before deer season comes.

Shoot at the yardages you'll be huntin. when you get done huntin', fling an arrow for practice.

30 yards 60%,20yds. 20% this should be a second nature shot for most hunters. 40-50 20% cause i can only take that shot while at certain places. But I know I can make a 40 yd shot on a deer under the right circumstances, I am not confident enough yet past that. All of my feeders are set up between 25-25 yards and very makable shots!

I don't have a tripod at my house, but have found that standing on my roof works pretty well. but i wouldn't do it if you have a steep roof.

My back yard limits me at 20 yards. I will try a couple from the pop up this weekend.

I shoot one set (5 arrows) from 20yds, then back up to 30yds for 3-5 sets, then out to 40yds for 3-5 sets, and if I'm having a good day I back up to 50yds for a couple of sets. By then the skeeters usually have me light headed from blood loss, so i go back inside.

25, 35 several sets of 5 arrows each. My 3 year old daughter likes to watch me (from behind and out of danger)so we play a game together. I walk around the backyard until she says stop. I nock, draw and fling. Helps me estimate yardage and puts the target at different angles than a straight broadside shot. She really enjoys the game!
Thanks- lotsofshots

I practice out to 80 yards. Most of the time I shoot 5 to 10 arrows at known distances and then 3 or 4 at unkonwn distances from 20 to 80.
