Beautiful animal! Love the fur on it, what a great shoulder or full body mount that bad boy would make. If you Euro him, will you do anything with the hide? Looks like it would make a neat rug or something

thanks all, I did a quick weight in my head, forgot that a kilo is 2.2 lbs, and just did a quick x2.
Friend called me today and said that based on whether the teeth stay in the jaws while cooking, he'll either keep it as a whole skull or just place the cutters on an oak shield.
I think if we imported these genetics to Texas, we'd have a whole new level of crop damage on our hands! Whole new level of damage is probably an understatement, man this this is menacing!

Great trophy. As someone who hunted russian boars in Europe I know this is a once in a lifetime trophy. Do they really call them Euro Mounts in Europe??

Need to bring some of those genetics here to texas & mix with our hogs. Great trophy! No, we need a disease in Texas that kills all pigs. They out compete everything and tear up stuff, why would you want them bigger?

Nice. Thanx for sharing that. He will make a nice euro. Ha ha I get it "euro mount" in europe! I don't know about ya'll but that hog right there would only be stopped by a gun cause their ain't a hog dog around that can take a single blow from that index finger long tusk! That is insane big.

All mounts are done like this here, and the way we do the preparation makes them look museum quality. Bright white bone and we leave any plaque or discoloration on the cutters. It looks more natural I suppose. The folks that do full mounts or capes really charge a lot of money and they take their time. Really some high quality work. I went out last night, and it started to snow again. Pigs didn't come to the feeder and I froze all night. Gave up at 3:30am even though there were many around me, I couldn't see them. There was no chance that I was going to get on the ground with these guys running around.
 Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

Nice trophy. I am surprised he had a gun to shoot it. I was in Germany this summer for Oktoberfest and every German I spoke with said they thought it was "crazy" that we were *allowed* to own guns in Texas.

I was in Germany this summer for Oktoberfest and every German I spoke with said they thought it was "crazy" that we were *allowed* to own guns in Texas. That's a common sentiment in Germany. The Germans furthermore don't think that American Soldiers should be allowed to hunt here on our own installations. Less than 2 percent of the German population are hunters or sport shooters. American hunters make up nearly 15% of that figure. The main problem in Germany is that after WWII, we enacted such harsh penalties on the German people with the French British and Russians that the Germans developed a belief in pacifism and disdain for weapons and those who use them. People went for years crying about how to get rid of the guns that hunters had and now they're crying about the wild boar that are destroying their gardens and soccer fields, and wonder why the hunters aren't killing more. Every country has its share of knuckleheads.
