I have a 11yr old (almost 12), who has taken hunters safety and has taken 3 spikes, the last 3 years. We are going to try and plan a hunt for him - only he would be hunting. I have taken some decent deer in the past and now enjoy watching and videoing his hunts.
I am looking for a management hunt or an opportunity at a whitetail somewhere in the 140 + range. Not interested in a cull buck hunt. Low fence only.
We would be willing to go just about anywhere in the US/Canada, kinda a father/son thing. I am trying to stay under $1500 or so for this type of hunt. Thinking about foregoing a lease this next year and plan a memorable hunt. I realize this is not alot of money for these type of hunts, but figured I would throw this out there.

$3750 is a little more than I was hoping to book a hunt for. I appreciate the information though and am sure the experience would be worth it, if I had that in my budget. A few years ago I hunted in SD for antelope on an old mans farm who let a few folks hunt each year. We payed $1000 and that included lodging and meals made by his wife. We all filled our tags. I know I will likely not find another deal like that but was hoping to stay around the $1500 hunt fee. I figured I'd throw the information out there and might get lucky with someone who offered youth hunt discounts. Or another old man who had a really good deal.. lol.

I can't guarantee a 140in+ deer but I can tell you you will have a good time. $1650 3 day hunt with lodging. Any size buck as long as he is mature. Check out my site. www.westtexashuntorg.com

That's a pretty good deal Mike! Elkaholic most places are going to be $2500+ for a 140+ deer.

That is a good deal. That's the reason I had posted, I realize some of these hunts are a bit out of my budget and likely worth every cent, but was hoping some outfitters would reach out to me with some great youth deals that I would likely never have come across. Thanks Mike and the others that PM'd me. I will get with my wife over the weekend and review the information and hopefully have a great hunting experience for the kiddo in the fall.
Thanks again.
