As the title says, still a run on ammo. As soon as it is put out, folks are snatching it up.

If you have a 10mm, 41 Magnum, or other oddball, you're still in great shape.

Things are much better at the Cabela's in Allen. They don't have everything, but it's slowly becoming sane.

I was in Cabelas in Allen last night and they were putting out all kinds of Ammo. Even 22lr, but people were hovering around the shelf and pulling it off as they were stocking it.

Cabelas in Buda has been crazy Since about September of last year. I usually go once a week just to see what they have. Usually nothing. Got luck once and go 2 boxes of 45 acp.

The shelves are barren.

I've gotten lucky at the Cabela's in ft worth 3 times.

Went to Garland Bass Pro - empty shelves…… a couple of bottles of powder, most reloading components including presses are gone… no .22 or pistol calibers although they did have some finished rifle rounds in some of the more popular calibers. This is crazy and irritating. ……

Last time I stopped by Buda was on my way to San Marcos on a Sunday morn. Stopped by about 830a thinking they opened at 8. Open at 9. Was "first" in line. About 5 mins before open guy walks around loose line with 2 teenagers. Overhear him tell the kids to sprint around everybody when door opens. Guy unlocks door. I go in and as soon as hit inner doors sure enough both kids bolt by everyone and run to back. All they had was some 223. They both had snatched as much as they could hold. Cabelas "ref" was standing there and I asked hold old you had to be to buy ammo (knowing the answer). Cut story short he made them put it back. Guessing Dad was not happy. It was a zoo. Won't go back till something changes

I missed it by an hour, but a fight broke out a couple of weeks ago at the ammo case in our local Walmart. The gal who works there told me that two guys went to blows over "who was in line first."

She said that she knew who they were and that are both re-sellers who are there every morning at 6:00 AM. Now, they gradually put out more ammo when nobody is in line.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
