 FFL and gunsmith recommendations

I have the list of FFL and have called a bunch, I just really don't feel like paying the $30 when I know there are good one's out there that will do it for free or for like 15 bucks. Any recommendatons? I will travel a bit if they are really good.
Also looking for a reputable gunsmith in these parts, not a gun cleaner, someone who can tap and die and work with metal.
Haven't got a hold of them yet, but thinking maybe Cash Advance Pawns in Benbrook for the FFL and either Great Guns in Burleson or Panther in FTW for the gunsmithing?

Try SMR Firearms in Hurst. Sam Rickman owner is good guy and reasonable.
