Re-parkerized today by a buddy who works at a machine shop (along with the little Marlin .22 my dad got me when I was 11). He does nice work, and will blast and parkerize about anything if anyone is interested. Looking good, now just need my rear peep to come in.

Gen-you-wine Lyman peep sight for SMLE (a MOTHER to track down!) - $93 Cheapo NCstar pistol scope $32 Aftermarket extra mag -$40 Total investment= $457 I'm pretty pleased with this.

Have you shot it yet? Lol! I haven't actually, isn't that just the luck! Work and school and kids haven't given me a chance to get out and actually shoot the damned thing. But at least I was able to buy parts and build it up.
