FYI, one must cross reference the Texas hunting season dates before planning any major events, i.e. confirmations, deaths, baptisms, graduations, parties, weddings, etc.

So, my cousin is getting married in Philadelphia on opening weekend. I would say "to hell with it", but I'm a groomsman so I better go. Heck, his sister got married on opening weekend of deer season a few years back. I think that part of the family has serious issues!

Inconsiderate Loco Cousins. If you have any more that might mess up an opening weekend now is the time to set them straight before any more madness happens.

Good luck with the rest of season, most years the mid to late season is better anyway

My college friends and I jointly agreed that weddings wouldn't be scheduled during football season. That help up fairly well. Out of about 20 guys, only a couple did it and most of those were during byes or scrub games. Perhaps a hunting season pact for the future?
