Wulf Outdoor Sports®, the premier outdoor sporting store in East Texas, along with Under Amour®, Lacrosse Boots®, Nikon®, Port A Cool and The City Of Center, will be hosting “the largest cash prize ever” Wild Hog Roundup beginning April 5th and running through April 13th.
With community support to control the destructive feral hog population a bounty of more than $28,000 will be paid to the teams of up to 4 who bring in the most hogs during the roundup. The hunt is limited to these following counties only: Shelby, Panola, San Augustine, Angelina, Nacogdoches, Rusk, Sabine, Trinity, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Kaufman, Ellis, Navarro, Leon, Houston, Upshur and Freestone Counties.
There are three divisions within the contest that hunters may enter.
Trapping /Open Division (Money will be awarded for most hogs killed)
1st Place - $5,000 Cash
2nd Place- $2,500 Cash
3rd Place- $500 Cash
• Bonus Divisions- For most hogs killed in Shelby County
• $5,000 for most hogs killed- Sponsored by The City Of Center
• $500 for most hogs killed – Sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank.
General Division (no trapping allowed)
1st Place - $5,000 Cash
2nd Place- $2,500 Cash
3rd Place- $500 Cash
Overall Heaviest Hog Division
1st- $1,500 Guaranteed Cash Payout (or 50% of entry fee purse, whichever is larger )
2nd- 30% of entry fee purse
3rd- 20% of entry fee purse

• $2,500 for heaviest hog killed in Shelby County.
