I wanted to wish all of the youth hunters good luck this weekend. Post pictures when you can of the birds.

I will be out there with my 8yr old daughter. Hopefully the weather will hold up for us

You, too! My 13 year old boy and I went out last weekend and did some scouting. We weren't too sure it was gonna work out since 3 weeks ago we went out (to scout and pop a hog or song dog) and we had no birds. At some point in the last 2 weeks they showed back up like they have done the last 3 Springs. banana

They're roosting 125 yards away from my feeder on the creek and hitting it and the adjacent field every morning then again on the way back to the roost in the late afternoon. And it's real easy to sneak in to the edge of the field without being seen or heard. This is the first year they have ever consistently used the feeder. I guess the drought has them doing what they gotta do. I'm used to running and gunning so this will be different.

I hope the weather doesn't screw it up...
