Is there anyone on the site doing any hog hunting in Granger,Texas? I went out this weekend but didn't bag a pig. I am looking to connect with anyone that bow hunts for pigs. You must have a public permit ($48 bucks per year) If you're in or close to Austin, and want someone to hog hunt with, please hit me up. I put out 2 40lb bags of corn and had my trailcam out all night. I have a pop-up blind, just need a buddy to go with me that knows the area.

A good hog is a dead one.

Squirt,

I've got a new kid on the way any day now so my days in the field are going to be severly limited for a while. However, once I'm back into the swing of things, I'll get in touch with you. I've been out to Granger many times and would enjoy some company while hunting the hogs.

Hey Squirt. If you bait the hogs out there you will have a great chance. Didn't used to be able to put corn out for them.

Kody , shoot me a PM if you read this thread. I forgot your user name.

Come Jan/Feb/March I will be there with you guys. Sooner if I tag out in Oct on deer.

We need to all get together sometime. There seems to be a lot of people in the Austin area who like to hunt and fish. One can never have too many hunting /fishing friends.

Went out there today to do some scouting, saw some rooting but I mainly just walked along the river to back behind the power lines.
Looks like a fun place.
