Well I thought I made up my mind on the leica 1600. I borrowed a buddies and loved it but really don't need that much. I'm looking at a Bushnell 1500 and I understand not to expect to range that far but am wondering what is realistic.

I've got a Nikon 600 (I had thought it was an 800 till I recently used it). Anyway...it's good for about 400 yards max on deer, pigs, and coyote, and I have to work pretty hard to get a reading at 400. Next one I buy will be rated for 1000 or better and I'll hope for 50% or 60% of that range being usable for deer, pigs, and coyotes.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

I tested the ARC Binos 2 years ago they worked great! I didn't care for the binos themselves that much but the range finder worked very, very well.
