I just acquired one and i am looking at swapping the stocks out. I was wondering if there was any of y'all with any experience with these and had any recommendations? I was looking at the bell and carlson stocks but.this is all new to me and am kinda overwhelmed lol. with it having the triangle shaped barrel i am not sure what model of stock to look at. Thanks in advance for the help.

I had one when they first came out. That muzzle brake is louder than it is effective!

I put it in a B&C stock w/o any issues, and I also put it in an AICS stock w/o any problems.

Thanks for the response. Over all were you happy with the way it shot?

i recently got a vtr in .223 and i like it but i just dont think that a .223 round is big enough to take down pigs. hit one three times over the weekend and kept on running. but overall im happy with the rifle. actioin is smooth. first remington ive own and it performs very well.

Shot lots of pigs with a .223, never lost one. Maybe you might want to check your shot placement.
