Anyone know where i can get some 85 gallon drums ? Wanting to build a larger feeder, minimize trips to the lease to feed. I think paying for the extra corn will outweigh the cost of fuel.

http://www.amazon.com/SKOLNIK-Carbon-Ste...6738&sr=1-2

Looked into this...even tried to find some used but I will say I just found 2 used 55 drums and put both up. One goes off in the am and one in the pm. All of that for the price of one of these big drums. Now I have an approx 700 lb feeder smile

yep I'd just assume have two 55's at one location for less than one 85....more feed, less stress on components, if one dies one is still good to go.

And if one of the feeder mechanisms or batteries craps out you still have one running.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
