Thanks for the advice, I'll have to check out a few gun shows. I put this dead mount together this year. It's gonna have a drake Goldeneye real soon with it. That is bad arse! When Iget set up to make duck calls I think I will turn one as practice and make it antiquated. The either hang it or set it on the shelf.

Do you have a lathe yet? That is a very frustrating hobby to have. I dabble with it some, my advice is to find a mentor. I've gotten all of my knowledge from the Internet and its just not enough.

Who did you take them to? He is a fireman that lives south of Rosenberg. His brother works with me here at the station. He just got back into doing taxi work after a long break. He went to take a duck in that his son shot and when he heard the price he decided to do his soms duck himself. Next thing you know he hung out his shingle and is bak in business. He did a Euro mount on my deer and it was great. He has a very good eye for detail.

I have the original red and white cardboard box my Faulk's call came with. Once I get the calls up and running and I like the sound, the old Faulks is going on the wall. It will be on the shelf of this mount. I would say it is rather fitting. I love that old call.
