I am the BPS HQ this week and saw this guy on left outside. Obviously it is half Canada, but what is the other half.
It's not skybusting, if you make the shot.

That's a bad azz hybrid! Some guys out Blackfoot killed one this past season.

I agree with a farm goose considering that is a greater next to it. it also hissed at my when taking the picture.

My best guess is a cross with an African grey goose which some people call a farm goose. There aren't really enough markings to be sure of this though. It's definetly a cross of some sort though. Cool pic, thanks for sharing.

When I was younger, my father and I raised Giant Canada Geese for sale and one of the pairs female died the morning see hatched her clutch off and the Gander took up with one of our white domestic females and bred some really odd looking crosses.
Sure were fantastic eating geese, better than a Canada itself.

I love crosses! We killed 5 this year 4 of which I'm mounting. Had some cool Canada/speck crosses and snow/Canadas
