Sbe 2. The only Vinci I have ever shot kicked like a mule.

My advice is to find someone that owns one if each and go shoot them together and compare. Vinci is lighter and has a different feel that I didn't like too but mainly it kicked more.

As far as what you want..lots of good shotguns have been named here. You are best to pick the one that fits and feels best. If you are sticking with one of the guns named in this thread (Benelli, Browing, or Beretta) you will be in great shape regardless of your pick.

For me the Beretta felt top heavy and unbalanced....for others it's the perfect feel and fit. It all comes down to what works best for you. Garrett on here has a SBEII...really likes it but he actually told me he likes the feel of the new Browning Maxus better which was not around when he got his SBE.

There really is no right answer or all this "hands down" crap. People that say such things are unobjective fanboys often times. There is only a right one for you.

I agree with aggiegadwall. Find someone who has both and shoot them both and figure out which one fits you best.

I've owned both, but recently sold the Super Vinci because it just didn't fit me right. I was missing ducks with it and took it to shoot skeet with some friends. I shot a 4 and then a 6 with it. (I'm not much of a skeet shooter anyways, but I'm not THAT bad). Went back a week later and shot a 16 first round and then a 20 second round with the SBE II.

The break down of the Super Vinci is a little quicker (once you know how to do it). The fore-end grip tapers a little larger and is ideal if you're wearing big gloves, but I think that grip might have been a little bit of the poor fit for me personally. Try shooting them if you know someone who has them and see which one feels best for you.

Super Vinci!!! I've had one for about a year and it is my favorite of any gun I own. It take a little getting used to but after you do, you will never want to shoot anything else.

I am a loyal 870 shooter as it works like a timex (post to prove it ). if I was to buy one it would be a SBE for the option of having 3.5 if I want it.

Vinci I got one and love it to death I let my dad try it out who has used the same gun since he was 16 (wing master) and it made him consider getting one

I own a SBE2, love everything about it except the recoil!! May just be me, but it kicks substantially harder than any of my other shotguns! You load her up with 3.5's and it turns a good duck into comedy. Three grown men sitting in a blind chuckling as we watch birds backpedal into the deeks! While trying to talk the other into shooting them! SBE2 + Black Cloud 3.5's #2's = NOT FUN!
