a coast trip is a serious affair.

I don't sit on the pier and catch piggies we make long runs to baffin and landcut

I'm dying over here

Why in the heck aren't you trapping skunks (March is breeding season) and calling predators?

The beauty of predator hunting is that it is all 12 months in Texas. There is ALWAYS a hunting season!

You have no excuse to be bored!

I envy you right now.

Oh you can bring it back, problem is you can't get rid of it. At least not without a trip to the clinic.

TXTrophy, I grew up in Corpus and fished Baffin hard from age 8-16, probably every other weekend out of hunting season. Popping corks and live shrimp. Avoid the rocks...Caught hundreds of 5-9 lb. Speckled Trout during those days..BTW, watch out for rattlesnakes out there, we killed 2, 5 footers riding the waves..

we fish baffin regularly but its a ordeal going there or in the land cut.

last time we went out I thought we were gonna sink the boat....a 22' Shearwater.

Today, to fight boredom, I shot a few 22 rifles to check scope zeros. That was fun, and easy and cheap.
