I have always liked browning. The logo is cool they have great shotguns. I am really disappointed in several things I'm seeing. First I bought some browning featherweight chukkas and they fell apart browning customer service told me they don't do any repairs or basically they don't deal at all and I needed to take them back to the store I bought them at which thank The Lord was Carter's Country who returned them with no issue, strike one. I then bought a Browning folding knife and I saw it was made in CHINA the blade has chipped from normal use. Strike two
What will strike three be?
I wish American companies would make products in America I'd pay more for my boots and knife to last more than a single use what is wrong with us?

Browning has never made anything in the US other than when Remington made A5's for them a couple years during WW2

Browning makes good firearms. The rest of that stuff they slap thier name on is usually not even made by Browning.

I doubt Browning made either product, not that it matters.
I didn't realize people actually bought Browning products. I just thought they bought stickers and tattoos.

You would think they'd place better quality control to protect their brand. Just stick to their firearms and hats.

I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Winchester and Remington both do the same thing but not nearly as successfully as Browning.
Those products are cheap and shoddy too. They just sell their name, that's all.
(Browning used to have good boots back in the day though. Their lightweight upland boots-Kangaroos maybe?-were very high quality.)

Browning doesn't necessarily manufacture their own guns either. FN in Belgium and Miroku in Japan have been the largest producers of Browning firearms over the years. And I think Browning and Winchester are basically the same company now as a subsidiary of FN.

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.
