Just depends on how you like your bow to react after the shot. I would try different lengths and weights until the bow reacts to your desired feel.

That's so true Jerry, like buy a pair of shoes, they have to fit just right and not everyone shoots the same way. I have spent tons on getting the right balance Jim Posten made a lot of money from me from stabs and blance bars for each competiton bow.
