Ok 666 lbs??? Seriously??? U guys crack me up. Heres a test.. How much on this one? We put it on a scale.  Probably 250. The look bigger than they are.

Correct. It weighed 235. Wild hogs just dont get more than 300 very often. And NEVER 600 lbs.

Correct. It weighed 235. Wild hogs just dont get more than 300 very often. And NEVER 600 lbs. I believe the RED text above. Every single one of the supposed supper hogs that I have seen looked very domesticated to me. I just dont believe the food and activity level of feral hogs permits 600 lb weights. I also would have a hard time believing that that hog weighs 235.

Chevy., do you think he weighed more or less than 235? I would say less than 235, but who can really tell from a picture... especialy when tactics like being a distance behind the game pictured have been used. You or whoever is in that picture aint right behind that hog so just knowing your trying to make it look bigger than it is makes me think its smaller than you say right off the bat!

The boys that killed the 399 pounder out in Jack County sure had there hands full... it basically spoiled every hog hunt they go on from now on. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to of shot it, but I wouldn't hesitate to shoot that 235 pounder any day of the week! That's a damn nice hog you've got...

We actually took this pic as a joke to see how big people thought it was. We had people saying it was a 500 pounder easy! We put it on a scale though and 235 is what it read.

Hogs seem really hard to judge and because we don't have a scale at our ranch we are always guessing Here are two big hogs we have taken and we guessed both at between 300-400 lbs. I can tell you loading them into a Ranger took 4 guys My wife weighs 150 lbs and my buddy weighs about 200 lbs so go figure from there.

Scales are cheap buy one.
This is why I like scales. I hunted a place for almost 20 years in the hilcountry avg buck dress weight was 100 lbs, biggest buck(by a long shot) ever shot dressed 115. We left the lease and someone I know hunts it now he shot a buck this year didnt weigh it and said oh he dressed AT LEAST 125. I saw the deer, no way that is what no scales and not weighing thigs gets you a bunch of bs.
