Anyone have any info on Oklahoma bear hunts? Not interested in public land hunts. Prices for leases or guided hunts?

It is a quota state and the last two years the season lasted just one day. You can only bait on private land so if you don't have private land and have it baited hard long before season you get tag soup.

I wasted $500 on an OK out of state bear tag in 2010. I'd recommend hunting in Arkansas where you have earlier/longer seasons, cheaper licenses, and a few guides to pick from.

I have great 5 day Bear hunts in Trinidad Colorado for 1850 lodging included.

Next year bow season will last the entire season and they will not shut it down for a quota.

Next year bow season will last the entire season and they will not shut it down for a quota. This and they are strict about their regulations. We hunt near Antlers and have had bear from time to time. Next year someone may buy a tag and hunt them
