The academy in College Station had about 300 or so boxes of 100 of Winchester Super X 40 grain as of 12 noon today

We are doing it to ourselves. People going in and buying up everything is why they put the 1 box limit on ammo. I'm all for it so maybe, just maybe, things can come back to normal.
I was at my local Academy and they had about 50 box's of 22LR. There was a group of 5 guys all buying there 1 box. I overheard them say they didn't even have a 22LR gun but were buying it to sell them. I don't know the demand for 22LR ammo but I imagine this is why we have this problem. To each their own.

Waco Academy...walked in at 630 this evening and they had about 6 boxes of federal .22 lr.....bought a box....went to the truck and had my wife run in and get a box...and in that less than 5 min span she got the last box! I think its getting better becaude that is the first box ive been able to find in a month plus and there being a few boxes that late in the evening...

Gun Gear to Go in Plano had about 100+ combined boxes of CCI, CCI mini mags, Federal HP this morning. They had limits on 9mm and .40 but not the .22LR

San Antonio Academy by 410 and Interstate 10 had quite a bit of ammo on it's shelves this past wkend..and quite a few weapons..but no AR's..DD

I forgot to look at the prices but I picked up CCI SR primers the week before for 36.99 / 1000. Not great but still below prices I have heard others charging.
