Pretty ridiculous! What i buy is for me not to re-sale. I just wait till the brand I'm looking for comes avail and then try to get in before it's gone. They even limited it to 4 bricks per day per person, I'm surprised there sight didn't crash. I know Natchez was busy yesterday, sometimes couldn't even log on.

I never seem to be at the right place at the right time for some 22. Academy has had some, but that one box deal makes it tough.

I stopped by Academy on my way to work this morning and was able to pick up 2 - 525 round bricks of 22LR for $20/ea. They had about 20 bricks total.
The guy behind me was frantic about getting some .45 for his CHL class tomorrow and I asked him if that's all he was buying. He said "yes" so I told him "I'll buy you an extra box of .45 if you buy me a 22LR"...
All they had was 22LR, .45 and .40.

I managed to pick up 1- box 22 lr and 1- box .556 @ Academy in College Station. Wife did the same if this helps anyone.

It's sad that so few saw this coming. Especially after the '94 & 2008 panics. How do folks just forget, again, then get into this ridiculous, idiotic frenzy? I don't want to laugh, but can't hardly hep it.. Panic buying .22 ammo at $35.00 per brick? Wow, that's just awesome!
