Let a 6 inch Colt Diamondback in 22 Mag get away, I was just offered too much money. My old Remington 788 in 22-250 will always be missed as will my old H&R semi-auto 22 mag rifle, that rifle made me allot of money when I was hide hunting.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Pre 64 Winchester Featherweight in 257 roberts. Sold it back in '88 for about 500$. Id give $2000 to have her back. That rifle could kill anything I pointed her at out to as far as the Luepold could allow me to see. The recoil was nothing, it didnt blow up animals like a 243 does, and I could load cast bullets easily for plinking around. I have a half dozen rifles right now.....Id throw everyone of them to they lucky SOB that holds her now.

FYI....guns are like women, the really pretty ones, and the really fast ones....arent the ones you miss when their gone......its the ones that never failed you, always did their part, and never refused to give you a BANG when you tripped their trigger that you miss the most.

I miss my Les Baer and Ed Brown 1911's the most.

I sold a NAA combo w/ bayo & several grips for too cheap.

Some THF'ers got a really good deal on those and a few other 1911's/revolvers. I doubt I sell another 1911 or revolver for a while

When I was 16 and before I got into guns, my grandpa gave me an gov't colt 1911 and 38 he had while in the service both in prestine condition. Told me to take it down and trade them off for a new rifle and anything else i could get. So I did. I kick myself numerous times a year for doing so now that I look back on one what it was worth and two just keeping them bc it was my grand fathers.

Same here but in .308
First rifle I bought in 1988 then sold a few years later for needed cash.

After reading these posts, it reaffirms my pledge to never sell any of my guns. I have been thinking about selling to buy a Colt Python too.

Baby Eagle with both the 9mm and .41AE barrels. Replaced the gun but without the 41AE. im still lookin for that barrel.

All numbers matching SA M1 Garand made in 1941.

Needed money both times....

My first shotgun. Had a 20 gauge single shot, cannot remember the brand. Loved that gun and downed many dove and quail with it. In my 20s decided I no longer needed the gun and sold it for $100. Now I have two boys who enjoy hunting and looking to buy them a 20 gauge single shot. If only I would have thought ahead, I wouldn't be kicking myself!!

I regret almost every gun I have sold, except an AR15 I built from Blackthorne parts, I feel bad because I sold it when I should have crushed that worthless piece of junk.

I sold my Winchester Trapper in 30-30. I had received it as a Christmas present in the early 80's. I sold it in the late 80's when times were tough and I wanted to get my wife something for our first Christmas together. I don't remember what I bought her but I do remember the gun.
