barbwire fence. Were it a cat it would have more then just one cut going down the back. Plus cats tend to grab the animal on the flanks on both sides.

That's clearly a buck that has already dropped his antlers. He is suffering from early on-set male pattern baldness. Better go ahead and shoot him, you don't want that trait in your gene pool.

She just likes parting her hair down the middle.

Football has ended and baseball hasn't started, deer season has ended and turkey season hasn't opened, so I am admittedly a little crazy, but I'm going out on a limb and saying that she was shaved by someone's arrow. I had a doe jump string several season's back and it left a perfectly shaved area right across her shoulder and back. If someone was in a ground blind and took a straight on shot while her head was down, you could get this effect. Far-fetched, and probably a fence, but just seems too clean a cut (more like a shave)for it to be barbed wire. Would expect hide to be damaged as well as hair missing from a fence wound. Hurry up turkey season...I am way over-thinking this.

The fence behind the deer looks like it would be a challenge to spit the top strands. Not sure if it's a feeder pen or not though.

That's the result of an overzealous stud buck with bad coordination.
