Got a new FNX-45 Tactical. Ready to go shoot it this weekend. Anyone else have one of these?

Very nice. I'd be interested in a follow up range report after you shoot the pistol.

I had one awhile back, but traded it for a 21 SF and 30 SF. It just wasn't my think, but I have friends who love them.

There's not much that FN manufacturers that I don't like. Hard to dislike a 15rd capacity 45acp pistol. Especially when it threaded and has sights for suppressor.

That thing looks amazing. I haven't seen the tactical version. I'd like a range report after you head out on this one too.

I have the Fnp 40, love the gun, way under priced for what you get.

My best friend has the slightly older model (the FNP i think), but the same tactical edition. At first, I was not 100% sold on FN's in general but after shooting his it completely changed my mind. That was the most accurate 45 I've shot. it really annoyed me that i was shooting his better than my 1911. Plus, 17 rounds of 45? Really? How awesome is that?

Great weapon. I hope you enjoy the heck out of it.

I made a holster for one of these the other day. Thing was awesome, I didn't get to shoot it, but it felt great in the hand. His had a doctor red dot mounted and a light/laser on it. Made it pretty heavy but it still wasn't bad.

I'm not trying to promote my holsters, I don't know where you are located, but I've never heard of hollis before. The only pics of the gun I have are with the holster. Figured you might want to see it with light/laser and red dot.

I'm pretty excited about it. I got a great price especially since you can't hardly find them anywhere.

Only problem is I looked up where Hollis is and you are a pretty good ways away. I would need the gun to use in the mold so distance is a killer to my business lol.

.308TAC - I have the FNP-45 tactical. It is awesome. I have big hands and I love the way it feels and handles. It is currently wearing a TLR-2s and a Trijicon RMR, and I will be getting an Osprey for it soon. It is an awesome shooting pistol and extremely accurate. I heard tons of complaints about the FNP hating winchester white box ammo, so I never messed with any. But I have run over 750 rounds of Remington USP bulk .45 and never had a single malfunction of any sort.

One thing you may experience is that the thread protector will loosen itself when you shoot. I always take it off at the range so I don't lose it, but I leave it on when I carry it at the lease. They may have fixed this on the FNX, but I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet. Let me know how you like it.

Gotcha. I have the Dual Illumination RMR with the amber dot and kind of want to get a Docter with the red dot. For what I spent on the RMR I could have nearly bought 2 Docter's. Thinking about listing it for sale here.

I read a ton of reviews on the FNP prior to buying mine. The WWB ammo issue was mentioned on almost every forum.
