Anybody have info on the performance of these bullets?
I loaded up some for my rifle, they were very accurate-do they "work" well on critters?

I believe that they are Remington's version of a ballistic tip....just stay off the shoulder and they should work fine!

I shot some in my 270 when they first came out, they shot great out of the gun and on behind the shoulder and neck shots they did good, a little more exit wound than I like, but never lost anything. For shoulder shooting I was not impressed, a mixture of no exit and then exits ou could park a tractor in.

Never had a deer make it 10 yds with one behind the shoulder. Big exit hole and insides look like mush.

I shot a huge boar hog (280 lbs weighed on a hanging scale field dressed) with one of these (in .308") from a 30-06 and it worked, complete passthru both lungs in a quartering away shot the hog was instantly rocked, then walked/stumbled 15 feet and collapsed. I also shot a buck with this bullet from the same 30-06, dead before he hit the ground. I reload and I believe (unconfirmed) this is actually a hornady A-Max or V-Max (depending on boat tail).
