Just as first light broke this morning I rolled past this scene and had to stop. It was a bit dark due to the cloudy, foggy, drizzly weather but still a cool scene.    Another American Kestrel  Loggerhead Shrike  Duck

The stupid ducks were all piled up at one end of the pond. So I strolled over there to get closer and they all paddled their silly butts back to the other end. I got this pic of the nearest duck paddling away. So if I had to assign a name to him it would have been "dam* duck" but I didn't think Big Orn would have liked that. So he's just plain ol' ordinary, everyday "DUCK". Besides, I don't know ducks and couldn't tell you what flavor he is.
Thanks for the compliments guys. Oh and yeah, the deer/turkey pics were about a mile SW of Buda.

I'm not really satisfied with any of these pics. I've figured out that my lens just doesn't have the reach that I want or need for the type of photography I want. Soooo I guess I'm gonna have to pony up for a big lens. Something in the 400mm-500mm range. Boy, this is gonna hurt.
