She has more fun then me, fishing or hunting. Our honeymoon was spent at the beach, catching trout. Luckily that week it was dead calm and the beach gets so clear you could see your toes in chest deep water. Those trout get stacked up at the beach then. It was 100 deg., we left the house at 3 pm, drove a hour to the beach. Caught fish till we ran out of bait. Got our twenty keepers. We wade chest deep in the surf, kind of float around with rod, bait bucket and a fish basket. That cool surf water keeps you cool. Can't even tell it was that hot floating around in the surf. Usually the surf at matagorda looks like chocolate milk, but when those big high pressures get over the gulf during the summer and kills the wind, then in a day or so the surf clears up. Check out the pic of the jug lines in the bucket some are patched up using white duct tape and pieces go green pool noodles, because of the big alligators using them as chew toys at night!
