I had to go all the way to the Walmart in Longview to get mine. 9 hour wait outside in the rain. Then they only had two left. I sure hope I get my two teal.

I have a buddy that works at a place they sell licenses and he holds mine every year till I can get there. I have heard some talk they might increase the length of teal season next year through the middle of october but it would only be open to hunters who were drawn for teal tags. I really hope they don't go that direction.

it's a good thing that gadwall is still outside of the hunter choice bag limit.

So the draw is only for early Teal season? Is the draw going to be only for people that got Teal tags this year or for anyone that requests a Teal tag next year?

when you purchase your teal tags next year you will automatically be entered into the drawing for early teal season. If you are drawn you get to hunt the early season, if you aren't drawn you will have to save your teal tags for the regular season.

Went down to Wallyworld today to pickup a special order orange shelf strecher and thought I'd stop by the sporting goods section. They still have a few teal tags for the 2008-2009 season. Funny thing, I saw Sam Walton over there this afternoon. I thought he had kicked the bucket a few years ago.

You can find them at any Walmart that carries cordless extention cords.

Hey Guy, I enjoyed running around with you too. We will probably get together again before season starts. See you then. Paul

Just picked up my lic, and tags for this season.

I was told to keep up with the portion of the TAG I signed for next season.

Apparently anyone without a tag for this season will need to pay double for next season. It just getting freaking redicuouls.

I'm all about trying to raise money for something I enjoy, but this just seems wrong. What if you're not able to go this year? Forcing people to pay cause they can't go, or just can't find a store that has them in stock in time for the season, is just plain wrong.

Oh well, at least I got mine. Good luck to the rest of you.
