 Law enforcement officer looking for central Texas lease

I reside in Louisiana and looking to either join an existing lease or pick up a small tract around 100-300 acres. I'm not looking for trophies just a good place where my kids can see a lot of deer and kill a few. Guest is a plus. Since I'm in Louisiana I won't be hunting every weekend. Looking to find something in the hill country with high population. Trying to stay under $2000. Let me know if u know of anything.
