What's his registered name going to be?
My dogs name is Maverick his registered name is "Goree's Flight School Drop Out"
That's the fun part to me, trying to piece the puzzle together.
I personally like Trigger, call him Trig Registred name "This aint the only trigger I'm quick on"

I'd say they are all pretty good names. Can't go wrong with any of them. Mud Shark - I have a weim called Goose. Maybe Goose and Mav should team up My next boy will be called Ranger or Gunner.

We have a Brittany named D.O.G., get some funny looks sometimes but he seems to like his name just fine. We also have a Duke that is close to 13 y.o.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Seems like there are a lot of Dukes.
Audie after Audie Murphy. Not a common name. Couldn't talk my wife into naming one of our kids Audie.
Gus is a good one too IMO.

Sergeant, Major, Captain, Alamo. Something patriotic. Cut it to a one syllable short like Sarg, Maj, Cap, Al when calling him.

Don't all Labs and Pointers have like three names listed on papers anyway. Pick a few and string them together then decide later which one you want to call him by.
Yellow Rose's Ramblin Dixie or Rocky Creek Rebel Yeller or Runnin' Elhew Sally Sue

a good dog is your buddy so I like to call um BUD
It's short and sharp for training and says something about dog & owner relation

Lots of folks dont believe hes calling his dog when he say it Don't get me wrong, I know Calvin's name. Not sure where you came up with Windsor but when I hear Windsor I think of cars and I was making a play on Ford motors. I used to be a pretty big car nut. When I was in the military I took in a stray Siberian Husky at my dad's place. Used to call him D.O.G., sounded like Doe-G.
