If you aren't able to kill a ram there you need to question your ability to shoot any animal with a bow. Kill as many as you can afford. I hate sheep.

I'm just saying they are corn hogs. Ask them to put you at the "zoo" feeder. They frequent that one. I hate sheep. I hope you kill all of them. That said look for a hole in the leg of the protein feeder at that stand. That's me making a great shot on it. But not on the fallow on the other side of the feeder. We all miss. Even after 20 years.

Irregardless that had to have been a pretty good shot to hit the feeder leg.

I had a new rest installed at the pro shop. I had no idea he moved the rest away from the riser as he thought it too close. He had adjusted the sight as well. I got it home and shot it and it was hitting right on out to 40 yards. Turned out it was messed up out of tune and my fixed blade heads were cork screwing the arrow flight. First time I had ever had a rest installed at a pro shop (QAD Ultrarest) because I was concerned about setting up the draw string correctly. Learned a valuable lesson. Went home empty handed on that trip because I was not willing to shoot at another animal and didn't have a set up there to paper tune. But every time since I've been able to take animals on my trips. Maybe not my target animal, but at least a pig or three. I could have killed rams every trip. But I have no, none, zip interest in them smelly, stupid, ugly corn hog critters. But one mans trash is another mans treasure. And those guys, Ben, Ryan, Dustin, are some fun fellas and I consider them my friends, not my out fitters and guides. You will have fun. You will probably get your shot. Just stay calm, pick a spot and follow through and you will have some pics to post up for us to enjoy.

Well I'm glad to hear you get annoyed with them. Has to mean there is a bunch. Too many fat butt sheep on that ranch! If you aren't able to kill a ram there you need to question your ability to shoot any animal with a bow. Kill as many as you can afford. I hate sheep. TOO TRUE
