I'm looking to do an Alaskan fishing trip this year or next. Any of you guys been? When is the best time of year and do you recommend any lodge or guides. Thanks in advance!

I live in Kodiak, Alaska and can set you up.! July is the best. You can catch all 5 pacific salmon and Halibut, Ling Cod, and rockfish. If its this year youd better hurry up and line something up. All of our guys are booking up quick. Pm me or call Eric Wietfeld 907-512-7566-C 907-486-4883-W

What kind of cost can you expect to have? Airfare, lodge,license guides ect...

I have a buddy that does a package deal. Week trip...lodging and a suburban to drive. One ocean charter...one 4 wheeler accesible flyfishing trip...and one road system trip for $1500 a person. You can add trips or go self guided the rest of the week. Very nice setup.

I was up there the past 2 summers fishing, Best Charter boat for offshore is Visitation Charters out of Seward. This was one of the best charters I have ever been on. We caught everything. The capitan is very knowledgable and friendly.
