Wanted to let you guys know about this place. My wife and I had the son stay with the grandparents Saturday night so my wife and I could have a date night. Although we've been here once before, this time my wife bought a Groupon for a five course "Tasting". It was AWESOME!!! All of the meals were things you wouldn't make at home.
When we got there we decided to do the wine pairing with the meal. Now I'm not a wine guy but can tell you it was great to have someone that knows wine pair the right wine with your meal. The meal went like this:
First course: arugula salad with a red beat purée and blue cheese crumbles. Out of all the meals this was my least favorite. Simply because I'm a meat guy. But it was very good as far as salads go.
Second course: scallop on top of spaghetti squash and brussel sprouts. This was one of my favorites. The scallop was the best scallop I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly. I could have eaten ten pounds of the spaghetti squash. It was that good.
Third course: quail with lintels. The quail tasted like it was cooked in bacon grease. Who doesn't like bacon. Now my wife is a person who will not eat chicken off of the bone. It grosses her out. But she ate this a loved it. As far as the lintels go, I don't care for them but they were great as far as that goes.
Fourth course: beef tenderloin and I can't remember what the vegetable was. All I can say is awesome! Cooked medium rare. So tender you could almost it with your fork.
Fifth course: bread pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream and fresh blueberries. All I can say is awesome.
They also brought out some corn bread and French bread that they make in house. Now my mom and wife make the best cornbread I've ever had. Until now. It's as moist as a cake and you don't want to slather butter on it.
Btw, this was a 'tasting' so we didn't get the full portions. I can honestly tell you we were both full by the time we left.
I highly recommend this place if you are wanting to take someone out to impress them.

we have been there a few times and the food and service were top notch every time. very good.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I was there also this weekend.
Yes the food was VERY good and well prepared but...... it shouldn't take 20 minutes for an appetizer and then another 45 minutes for a meal to come out only after I had to ask about it.
Will give it another try to see if it was just an off night.

Definitely give it another try. I guess you can attrubute the wait to everything being made fresh in-house.

My buddy is a waiter there. He's waited at a lot places in past 10 years, he said by far that's the best food he's served.

Seemed very knowledgable about the food and wine he was serving. Tall, skinny guy with some tatoos and a goatee. He was a really, really good waiter. Don't know if that was your friend or not.
