Thinking about jumping on the Easton Axis FMJ shaft. Any pros/cons?

I shoot the Easton Redlines...
FMJs are great I hear, just too heavy for me.

Tapered, compressed white cedar shafts splined at 95#. I guess you weren't taking about stick shooters, huh?
Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

They are heavy, but accurate as hell and very good penetration.
I would rather be accurate and hard hitting than fast. My groups at 40 and 50 yards got tighter when I switched to the FMJ's thus has made me a more confident hunter.

Easton Epic St's with Blazers, G5 Stryker broadheads I recently asked my Bowshop about going to the Easton FMJ's they said I would have to add felt to my rest because the material the arrow is made of would make to much noise. I didn't see the need to change just to spend more money when my old way wasn't broke. FMJ's are supposed to penetrate better, but so far I haven't not had a pass through. Sharp broadheads

If you have enough KE with your current setup then there is no reason to go with the FMJs anyways. A pass through is a pass through....doesn't matter how far it buries in the dirt afterwards.

Lancaster has them for 90/dozen right now. I can't remember what I paid for them cuz it was over a year ago and I got them with quickspins and halfout inserts which upped the price quite a bit.
