Academy in Mesquite now has a 1 box limit on 40, 9mm, 22LR, 223, and 308. And a 3 box total limit.

Shelves were still empty for the the most part though.

Abilene is doing the same, and all 9mm .40 .45 .223 and .308 were stored at customer service. At least they have some in stock now, been needing some 9mm for my girls to practice with.

College Station store the same. But were out of everything but 120grain .308 by late morning. At $37 per box.

This three box limit works ok for those of you who live just down the street. I am not too fond of the idea as I live two hours from the nearest Academy. It is an hour to the nearest Walmart for me.
It appears every time I go to town now, I will have to make time to go pick up my three box limit if I want to keep my inventory up.

I bought the last 3 boxes of 30.06 150 grain at my academy friday. Couldn't find any .243 at all.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I went to 4 academy stores in Houston/Katy this week-end. ALL were out of 30-30, but had plenty of 30-06.

I was in Fort Collins, CO last week for work and stopped by the Walmart there. Empty shelves, just like here.

Same here in Austin, but still have most hunting calibers for rifles minus 223 and 308.

Just went to the Academy on Bryant Irvin in Ft. Worth today. Quite a bit of .30-06 and .300 Win. Mag., but not much of anything else.

I stopped off at Gibson's in Weatherford yesterday on the way home from picking my stuff up from the lease. I bought some Houge grips for my AR and Taurus PT92, and was asking the guy about their ammo supply.

The guy told me that they are expecting a shipment by Friday of 13,000 rounds of .223 if anyone is interested, or lives near by.
Also, I have a heads up on when the shipment arrives, so if there is anyone who would like me to pick some up for them, I can do that. Just message me and we can set something up.

I have a limited budget, so I wont be able to buy for more than a few people, and of course myself. No mark-up, but you will have to come pick up near my area in South Arlington. I know how hard it is to find ammo right now. I want to go to the range, but don't wanna waste any of the rounds I have.

Ours looks the same. They actually moved the "popular" stuff up front. They got a limit of three diff calibers and only one box of each per day. I think it helps more people than it hurts. Kinda sad when you can't buy a bulk pack of .22lr for plinkin.

Katy Academy at 11:30

All the 223, 308, 9mm, 45acp, 17hmr and 22LR up front and under guard.

Katy BPS was pretty stocked at 10:30

Ten box limit on ammo, 2 pounds of powder limit, 2000 primer limit and 3 flats of shotgun shells limit. They had no powder or primers and bullets were gone in the popular cartridges.
